> Pilgrimage Tours
Pilgrimage tours are designed especially for church
groups and individuals who want to see the spiritual and
Biblical sites of the Holy Land. SETI’s pilgrimage tours
are often tailored to fit the beliefs of a particular denomination,
and defer broadly to the leading pastor or minister, so that each
group can gain the most from its experience in the Holy Land.
For pilgrimage tours, SETI generally builds time into the schedule for church or communion
services, worship, and prayer at many of the sites.
Activities often featured in Pilgrimage Tours include:
- Tours of Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Galilee, Nazareth, and other important sites;
- Exploration of important Jewish heritage sites such as Masada, Dan, and the Western Wall;
- Trips to the Israel Museum and Yad Vashem (the Holocaust Museum);
- Tours of Roman ruins including the amphitheatres at Beit Shean and Caesarea Maritima;
- Time for prayer and communion at sites such as the Mount of Beatitudes and
the Garden of Gethsemene; - A boat ride on the Sea of Galilee;
- Dinner in a Bedouin Tent;
- Swimming at the Dead Sea;
- Biblical history and archaeology classes;
- Guest lectures on Judaism and Islam from Rabbis and Muslim Imams;
- … and many other exciting activities!
